Bob Lowrance

Prior to forming QuickRamp Ventures Bob spent the preceding three years performing strategy consulting, business development, and turnaround work for a variety of start-up, early-stage, and small-enterprise companies within the Dallas/FW Metroplex. In that capacity, Bob was instrumental in guiding his clients through difficult economic conditions while consistently increasing top-line and earnings performance.

Bob’s last corporate effort was as Founder & CEO of a staffing solutions organization providing outsourced professional recruitment services and ASP delivered recruitment technology applications to high-growth companies. During his tenure, Bob successfully guided the firm from an entrepreneurial start-up to a nationally recognized professional services firm with large-scale outsourced recruiting engagements operating throughout the United States and Europe. He guided the hiring efforts of over 20,000 professionals for leading firms ranging from the elite of the Fortune 500 to high-profile entrepreneurial start-ups. His accomplishments included the design and implementation of the first outsourced enterprise recruitment model, deployment of the first enterprise staffing management system utilizing ASP technology via the Internet, and leading the firm to a top 5 ranking in the Dallas Business Journal’s FastTech 50 for revenue growth within privately held companies (1996-1999).

Bob has also served as Executive Vice President for a business-strategy consulting group specializing in start-up and high-technology ventures. He was responsible for the design and execution of the firm’s business development function, as well as head of delivery for the sales & marketing components of all client engagements. Bob began his career as a sales and marketing executive for a technology solutions provider located in Silicon Valley and has performed multiple sales and marketing roles for several application software providers.

Bob completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, where he was a Company Commander in the Corps of Cadets and received a commission as an officer in the U.S. Army. In addition to Bob’s participation at QuickRamp Ventures, he also sits on the Board of Directors for several privately held companies and regularly volunteers time to local charitable organizations.
